Alexandra Frei
Alexandra Frei has not travelled the beaten track. In 1984, she was the first woman in Switzerland to set up her own patent law firm. From a team of two, she has built up one of the better-known Swiss offices. Through her active involvement in various associations and committees, she has helped to shape the Swiss IP landscape. She was a judge at the Commercial Court of Zurich, a judge on the Federal Appeals Commission for Intellectual Property, President of LES Switzerland, a member of the board of the Swiss Association of Commercial Judges SVRH, and Vice President of the Institute Council of the Swiss Federal Institute of Intellectual Property.
In her work, Alexandra Frei has not limited herself to the usual tasks as a patent and trademark attorney. As a former entrepreneur in production, she knows the economic reality in which a company has to operate. From this, she has developed and cultivated a holistic consulting and support service, summarised as ‘market-oriented product protection’.
It was and stays important to her that our work remains affordable without compromising on quality. No glitz and glamour, solid substance instead.
This attitude has shaped us as an entire company and we continue to cultivate it.
